Rodney offered me 3 different itineraries with 3 different airlines, all at attractive fares for Kenya's busy season.The next day when I altered the destination city on the return route, he re-worked the two less expensive itineraries which further reduced the round-trip fares. On the third day, when I felt the urgency of finalizing my trip, he was able to change the return on my preferred itinerary to a later date and time to make it almost perfect. Rodney taught me two valuable lessons which I appreciate very much: 1. If your stopover on the return is long (in my case 2 weeks long), it will be less expensive to buy a separate one-way fare home after the 2-week layover. 2. Sometimes, as in my case, it is cheaper to buy 2 one-way fares instead of a roundtrip ticket. Worth checking! Judging from the best price I could get from a competitor for almost the same itinerary, Rodney probably saved me $100.00 in selling me 2 one-way tickets instead of a roundtrip ticket. < Back to reviews
